to point out the obvious...

1) there is already a 4AD discussion list on the internet.
2) there is already a grunge list on the internet.
3) this is the sloan/east-coast list.

and oh, by the way, it's no secret.  sloan are indeed recording
with laurence currie.  he's pretty much the slickest alt-rock
producer in town here; he did the spine single, the coyote ep,
and the grace babies cd.
