treble charger last night at CNE

Well, that subject seems to be pretty damn clear...I went to see
treble charger last night at the CNE. And I must say, I was very
impressed...I've seen them twice already this summer (both at the
Molson Amphetamine) and thought they were ok...but for some reason,
be it the fact that they really were extra good, or the fact that
this was probably my last concert of the so-called summer so I
enjoyed it all the more, treble charger rocked. They played (and
Helen, you can correct me or contradict me or whatever) Morale, 10th
grade Love, Even Grable (ah...), um...Trinity Bellwoods, Sick Friend
Called, Slight, Red, and Soaker...I believe that's it...
Now <ahem> let's talk about Moist. The only reason I stuck
around was b/c my friend Tammy loves 'em and I would have felt bad
leaving her alone, you know... and man, are their songs repetitive or
what... I'd only heard their oh-so-popular singles, but I swear I
thought they were playing "Silver" over and over again...and David
Usher's jump-and-toss-his-hair-around shtick wore thin pretty fast.
Oh, and he got his shirt ripped apart by a bunch of rowdies when he
took a dive off the stage...that wacky guy...
                                           listening to the new Blue
Rodeo album (are they not considered cool
on this list? Go buy the
record, anyway ;) ),
