Hardship Post

In light of the fact that everyone's been reviewing Hardship Post in their
current tour... I WON'T...

But I think it's somewhat entertaining to note some of the other events of
the evening!

Hardship Post in Vancouver's "Town Pump"... me and a fellow
Sloannetter (Andrea Gin) were both at this show. I guess it was kind
of a "west coast Sloan net meeting" of sorts, you know -- our numbers
are SO many.

Anyhow, we talked with Sebastian (HP) and Carl (from Zumpano) before
the show. This gave me an opportunity to ask many long time pending,
obscure and essentially pointless questions about Hardship Post and
Superconductor...

What can I say? It was cool.

Suffice it to say that the show was good... the lower tempo was
really moody (VERY well done) and the cover of "Coax Me" was alot of
fun.

But THEE event of the evening that is most worthy of note would have to
be this:

Earlier in the evening, before the show, I was standing around outside
the Town Pump and Mike Pick was there and this drunk guy came up to
him with a white plastic bag (hiding some round object) and said to
Mike, "heyyyy, want some cheese?"

Mike gave him this really confused look and then said, "no thanks, I'm
trying to watch my figure..."

The drunk guy just stood there for a minute or so, staring, probably
in shock or something... then he wandered off... it was the funniest
thing ever! hahahaha

Okay well, enough raving...
gotta go
