geek fest - Saturday

Okay, I didn't make it out friday, but James tells me it was brilliant, 
maybe he could tell y'all 'bout it.

Something was happening when James and I arrived, I think it was six two 
and a couple of the guys from the motes.  They were done before I got 
into the room, it's a long climb for an dry boned old geek.

Emily Vey Duke

Emily walked in, carrying her own chair no less(what an entrance), and 
did six or seven songs.  I liked the set alot, she did my favorite song, 
I'm not sure of the title but I think it's Ninety Pound Junky, it's a 
great one!  Here is the stripped down show I'd love to see, Popularity 
Contest, Broken Girl, and Woonsocket...oops, I mean Moonsocket, that 
would be something.

The Motes

Wow, what a band, I love them, first time for me to see them gig, and 
they were fabo!  Here's the full on space rock show I'd like to see, The 
Motes, Starbean, ... can't think of a third band.

State Champs

Another great show of three, the Jesus Lizard tribute is truly brilliant.
Here is the indie qwirck set I love to see, State Champs and Spool.
