yeah, i'm sure.  being a drummer with a perpetual subscription to "modern 
drummer" (thanks, mom!) i can safely say - with scientific support - that 
i'm right.  you CAN get earplugs that simply reduce dB's, as opposed to 
muffle frequencies (which is what ither ear plugs do) but they are 
expensive and generally have to be made to custom fit you.

but i LIKE the sound of muffled frquencies.
