more life without the double deuce

ok, i see stephen (that's STEFF uhn, for the uninitiated)
pedersen, halifax's own self-appointed arts and grammar
policeman, has a column in the mail star today connecting
the double deuce shutdown to kurt cobain's death. sloan,
jale, and bubaiskull are apparently halifax's response
to nirvana, he says. dick.

peter rowan, manager for eric's trip & hardship post,
says greg is definitely opening a new music spot, and
it isn't mad man mont's (which they may open just as
a drinking spot), but he can't tell me yet where it is.
so the drama continues.

meanwhile, there will be gigs. jale \!/ grawood,
june 10, 8PM. $5 jale + hardship post \!/ khyber bldg,
june 11, 7PM. All ages, $5. get ready to rock.

oh, and last night a whole bunch of equipment was
moved into the khyber bldg in preparation for the
video shoot of thrush hermit's "french inhale".
laura borealis was there, didn't know she was back.
rob was saying that he couldn't believe that all
that gear was for a video shoot just for them.
